Like many of his clients, Nathan 'Nato' Emerson first came to Jackson Hole on a ski vacation. While riding the Thunder chairlift he surveyed his surroundings and determined that he had stumbled upon the place he would call home. He has lived in Jackson since November of 1988. Born and raised in Danvers, Massachusetts, Nato attended the University of Colorado for his freshman year before transferring to and graduating from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. An avid and accomplished skier, Nato has taught skiing at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort since 1988 where he is acknowledged as one of the premier instructors. He is active with Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) as a certification examiner and with USSA as a certified race coach. He has been instrumental in the success of many internationally recognized skiers and snowboarders, including a stint coaching at the World Cup level as Head Coach of the USA Snowboard Racing Team. Nathan has been an active Realtor since 1999, and has participated in the sales success of several resort developments in Teton Village.
